• Email address (never stored in our database or linked to your submissions — used solely by Clerk for authentication)

User-Submitted Content

Information you voluntarily provide when using our platform:

• Salary information (position, level, compensation details)
• Company reviews and ratings
• Interview experiences and feedback

Technical Data

We may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information for security and platform improvement purposes. We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Provide and maintain the FairPay platform
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Improve our services and user experience
• Send important updates about our service
• Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service

Legal Basis for Processing

For salary and compensation data, we rely on our legitimate interest in promoting salary transparency and fair compensation practices in the Georgian labor market.

This legitimate interest allows us to retain aggregated salary data even after account deletion, as it serves the public interest in workplace transparency.

Anonymity and Privacy

Your submissions (salaries, reviews, interviews) are displayed anonymously to other users.

In our database, we store only your Clerk user ID (not your email or name directly) linked to your submissions for account management purposes.

Data Storage and Security

We store your data securely using industry-standard practices. Your authentication data is managed by Clerk, which maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

Future Analytics

We may implement analytics services (such as top.ge or Google Analytics) in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify users accordingly.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Data Retention

When you delete your account, we will remove your personal authentication data (managed by Clerk) and your Clerk ID from our database.

Your submitted content (salaries, reviews, interviews) will remain on the platform to maintain the integrity and usefulness of our community data. We aggregate and de-identify this data by removing direct links to your account.

Please note: In cases where you are the only contributor for a specific position or data point, that information may still be identifiable. We are implementing minimum threshold requirements to ensure true anonymity.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures include encryption, secure servers, and regular security assessments.
